1. Call for Applications

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology is pleased to inform the general public that the Kuwait University is offering one (01) scholarship to a deserving Tanzanian student in the level of undergraduate studies. The scholarship is only for the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year

 

  1. Conditions for Accepting University Education:

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • High school (‘A’ level) transcript and certificate.  
  • The secondary school (‘O’ level) certificate must not exceed two academic years 2024/25 – 2025/26.
  • The pass rate in secondary school should not be less than 90%.
  • Candidates for the scholarship must not be older than 21 years of age at the time of application.

3.     List of Supporting documents 

Applicants must include the following documents listed below:

(i)    Certified copy of bio data page of passport (if available);

(ii)   Certified copies of relevant educational certificates and transcripts along with a certified translation if they are in a language other than English; and

(iii)  TOEFL test scores or English Proficiency Test.

 

  1. Scholarship Benefits

The scholarship will support the following expenses:

  1. Tuition fees for the semester
  2. Living allowance

The student will be required to cover cost for:  

  1. Return ticket (in case of violating university rules and regulations and is subject to expulsion)
  2. Housing costs

 

  1. Mode of application and submission
  1. Complete the attached application form and submit to the Embassy of Kuwait at G12 Ada Estate, Kinondoni, House No. 05, Dar es Salaam.
  2. Submission of application form should be not later than November, 2025.

NB:       Candidates awarded this scholarship will not be eligible for government student loans or grants.
