1. Call for Application

The Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology hereby informs interested Tanzanians to apply for the Master of Advanced Studies in European and International Governance (MEIG Programme) Scholarship, offered by the University of Geneva in cooperation with the United Nations Office in Geneva.   1. Admission requirements 

Applicants must fulfil the following criteria:

i.  Hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Upper Second Class;  and
ii.  Demonstrate financial need on the part of candidates as well as their immediate and extended families, employers and any other persons who might otherwise have been able to contribute toward financing the applicant’s studies.
  1. List of Supporting Documents
Applicants must submit the following supporting documents, translated into English if necessary (English translations for these purposes do not need to be officially certified): 
   i.         Copies of official statements of income of all individuals who contribute to your household finances, including you; 
   ii.         Official statement from a bank or other savings institution, and/or tax forms, indicating available funds and assets; 
  iii.         Copies of responses to your other scholarship and/or loan requests, including from employers if applicable; 
  iv.         Copy of a medical certificate (including HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B/C tests);
   v.         Copy of a valid passport that confirms the applicant’s identification information; and
  vi.         Complete a 500-word (maximum) description of the main motives for your scholarship request, in English.

First deadline: 15th November, 2025
Second deadline: 20 December, 2025
Third deadline: 15 February, 2026
