PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIPS TENABLE IN THE PEOPLE’S DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ALGERIA FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2025-2026

1. Call for Application

The Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology is pleased to inform the general public that the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria is offering 45 scholarships to Tanzanian students to pursue Bachelor's degrees programmes in the following fields:  in Sciences and Technologies, Matter Sciences, Mathematics and Computer, Sciences of Nature and Life, Agricultural Sciences, Sciences of the Earth and Life, Architecture, Urban Planning and City Professions, Medical Sciences, Veterinary Sciences and Literature and Foreign Languages. 

Qualified Tanzanian students are invited to apply for the 2025/2026 academic year.

2.      Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Have completed Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination ( ACSEE); 
2. Be fluent in French or English languages

 Required documents: Applicants must submit the following certified documents:

1. Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE);
2. A statement of examination results;
3. A copy of passport bio-data page;
4. A birth certificate
5. Medical report confirming the applicant’s good health;
6. Two (02) recent passport-size photographs.

3.      Scholarship Benefits

The scholarship will cover:

(i)        Full tuition fees;

(ii)       Accommodation;

(iii)      Monthly per diem (Partial);and

(iv)      Study notes and materials.

4. Costs to be covered by the applicants:

1. Flight tickets International flight tickets (to and from Algeria).
2. Registration fees (200 Algeria Dinars (DA))

5. Mode of application

1. Submit a typed application letter with a recent passport photograph attached. The application should indicate age, sex, course, home district, telephone contact and email address. 
2. Attach all supporting documents in No. 3. 
3. The application should be submitted in hard or soft copy to reach the undersigned not later than 17^th December, 2025.

NB:       The Government of the United Republic of  Tanzania will not provide a loan or grant for candidates who are awarded this this scholarship.
