Com Office - Secondary Education Unit
Objective
To create a conducive environment for provision of quality secondary education. 

This Unit will perform the following activities:-
(i)  Provide inputs in the development, monitoring, evaluation and reviewing the implementation of education policy ;

(ii) Initiate the development and review of Secondary education curriculum, instructional materials and teaching and learning methods including physical education and ICT;

(iii) Set standards on provision, delivery, performance and achievement in Secondary education;

(iv)  Monitor and evaluate quality of Secondary education, teaching and learning processes and outputs;       

(v) Prepare and disseminate guidelines for identifying and nurturing gifted and talented pupils and monitor and evaluate their implementation;

(vi) Conduct research on issues pertaining to Secondary education accordingly; and

(vii) Prepare and disseminate guidelines for ensuring increased access and equity of participation and monitor and evaluate their implementation.
