The Procurement and Supplies Management Unit is responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services in accordance with the Procurement Act, Chapter 410, and its Regulations (G.N No. 518) of 2024. The Unit also has the role of managing and coordinating the procurement of goods and services using recurrent expenditure funds as well as projects funded by development partners such as ESPJ, SEQUIP, TESP, GPE-TSP, BOOST, SWASH, EP4R, HEET, EASTRIP, THELMS, EPIPT, and UTC

STRUCTURE
- The Procurement and Supplies Management Unit is headed by a Director of Procurement and Supplies Management Unit who oversees all procurement and supplies management activities within the Ministry. The Director of Procurement and Supplies Management Unit is supported by Principal Procurement Officers, Senior Procurement Officers, Supplies Officer One and Two who are responsible for procurement planning, tender management, contract administration, supplies management, and compliance with procurement laws and regulations.
